Flags Quiz

Flag Challenge

5 free games left today

This flags quiz shows you a real flag and asks one simple question: which country does it belong to? You get four options per question and ten questions per game. The set covers 195+ countries, from flags everyone recognizes, like Japan or Canada, to the ones that trip up even geography teachers, like Chad and Romania or Ireland and Côte d’Ivoire.

Every flag quiz round is different. Questions are drawn at random from the full country list, so you can replay as often as you like without seeing the same game twice. Wrong answers show you the correct country right away, which is the fastest way to learn: miss the flag of Kyrgyzstan once and you will probably never miss it again.

Flags are rendered as crisp vector graphics, so every star, stripe and crest stays sharp on any screen. The quiz works on phones, tablets and desktops, needs no account and no download, and each game takes about two minutes. If you want more flag practice after this one, try the reverse challenge in Guess the Flag, where you get a country name and pick the matching flag, or browse the full reference table with every flag of the world.

How to play

  1. Press Play. A flag appears with four country names below it.
  2. Tap the country you think the flag belongs to. Green means correct, red shows you the right answer.
  3. Finish all ten questions and check your score. Share it or play again with a fresh set of flags.
