Playing without an account

You can play CapitalsQuiz without creating an account. In that case the only data involved stays on your device: your daily game counter, your daily-challenge state and cached settings live in your browser's local storage. We also record anonymous gameplay events (game started, game finished, which mode) to understand which quizzes people enjoy. These events are not tied to your identity.

If you create an account

Accounts use Firebase Authentication with Apple or Google sign-in. We store your account identifier, email address and display name as provided by the sign-in provider, plus your subscription status. Authentication data is processed by Google Firebase under their terms. We never see or store passwords.

Payments

Web payments are processed by Stripe; App Store payments by Apple. We do not receive or store card numbers. What we keep is the subscription state linked to your account: which plan, from which source (Stripe or App Store), and its expiry date, so premium works across devices.

Cookies and tracking

The site sets no advertising cookies and loads no third-party ad or tracking scripts. Firebase scripts load only after you choose to log in or subscribe, not before.

Data deletion

You can delete your account and associated data from the iOS app settings, or by emailing us at the address below. Local storage data can be cleared through your browser at any time.
