Country Silhouette

5 free games left today

Strip away the map, the borders and the labels, and what is left is the purest geography test there is: a country’s bare outline. The country shapes quiz shows one silhouette at a time and asks which of four countries it belongs to. All 195+ countries are in the deck, each drawn from public-domain Natural Earth map data.

Some shapes are gifts. Italy kicks, Chile stretches, Cyprus points. Then the quiz deals you a compact landlocked African state or a boxy Central Asian republic, and you discover how much your map reading depended on context. Orientation stays true north and relative size is normalized, so the only clue is the shape itself, exactly as the mode name promises.

Country shapes is a premium mode: the first three questions of each round are a free preview, and subscribing opens complete rounds plus every other premium mode. Misses show the correct country instantly, which is how silhouettes move from unknown to unforgettable. The map quizzes are the natural companions here, since shapes learned in isolation click satisfyingly into place when you next see them on the world map.
